Joel for Jobs: A Walk for Work
This Sunday!
July 23, 2010
NILES, IL – The Pollak for Congress Campaign (IL-9) is hosting “Joel for Jobs: A Walk for Work” on Sunday July 25, 2010. Joel Pollak and supporters will be walking down Dempster Street from the beach in Evanston to the campaign office in Niles, about 8 miles. This walk will help raise awareness about the unemployment and the economic situation in the 9th district–and Joel’s solutions.
“Our district has lost thousands of jobs over the last few years. Washington is killing more jobs with out-of-control spending, higher taxes, and regulations that don’t work,” said Joel Pollak, Repulican nominee for Congress. “I invite everyone to join me on the Walk for Work to raise awareness about unemployment in the 9th congressional district, and as we unite behind a new agenda to create jobs and bring a fresh start to our district’s economy.”
The schedule for the walk will be:
8:00 am – Breakfast at the lake
8:30 am – Start Joel for Jobs walk for work down Dempster
Continue walking until we get to Pollak for Congress Niles office
12:30 pm – Pizza party at the Niles office
