The Pollak for Congress Committee, meanwhile, announced Friday that U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, the ranking Republican on the House Budget Committee, would be endorsing Pollak at a Sept. 1 campaign fund-raiser.
“The event is a sign of the national importance of our campaign,” said Pollak. “We have taken a ‘safe’ seat and turned it into a competitive race that is giving real power to the people of the 9th District.”
